One of the worst Kubota parts ever made is no longer a part of my tractor!

It sure felt good to be done with this turd of a part. Got some decent, and much less expensive parts on there to replace it.

Not just the BX tractors, the LX series it is optional. But I got the third function so it made no sense to add that option(did something right for once).

If it’s all that troublesome….I’m glad I don’t recognize it …. not on my tractor…

I didn't bother getting it either. With the cab and third function I have to get off the tractor anyways. Nothing difficult with pushing a few quick connects together.

It's not the connectors fault, it's that the hoses pull on the connector too much and that's what makes them leak.

On my bx it's fine too. There were a number of them replaced under warranty....as an FYI

never had a problem in 5 years, 1000+ hrs...though loader's never been off.
with SSQA, never needed to remove the loader as I don't cut grass with the TLB

The 2x2 'square' seems to be a better 'design' than the 'inline 1x4' .
I'm betting K went '1x4' due to space considerations ?

I get that done if yours last a long time. I take my bucket off regularly because I mow my grass with my BX2380 also. I could mow with it but I’m pretty sure I would take out some trees and damage a car at some point. I would bet if you took your bucket off four or five times a year, it would leak.
You’re right, Kubota doesn’t make all the parts on this thing. But they chose it. There are lots of other parts they don’t actually manufacture. This one just happens to be a turd. It’s not a huge deal, I replaced it with something that will last for years for well under $100. It’s just frustrating because the part that’s the issue could be a great part if they tried to make it that way.

the 'p404', 2x2 version has 2 latches
not too sure how a 1x4 inline could have double latches due to space constraint ( between hood and loader frame )

What Gen tractor? I'm in wait mode for my 2380. How long until the connection developed the leaking? What direction did you go for the solution. Got pics?

I'll be doing a lot of R&R with the FEL.

A bi-wing (dual lever) makes better sense.

Sorry you experienced problems. I would be interested in purchasing it from you. please give me a price and let me know if you would ship it to the Watertown, NY area. might help to lessen your costs to replace. Thanks in advance.
