Ok this is gonna sound like a crazy question.....
I have an older BUSH HOG TH60 that I have reworked and it now works perfectly.
It has a SQUARE pto shaft that has "sliding" locking pins on both ends (had to replace both springs/pins)
Here is the crazy question - does the smaller square tube go to the tractor and the female larger tube go to rotary mower? or reverse that - or does it not make a difference.....

And yes making sure the yokes are in correct alignment is easy to screw up if not paying attention!
