Hey All,

Looking for some advise on an older (hard to find parts for) L245 2wd. We inherited this little tractor from my wifes grandfather recently. Its been a tremendous help around our property but I am looking for a way to push our brush around for our burn pile. It does not have a front end loader on it, but was curious if someone could point me in the direction of something that might work for us.

I keep searching for attachments but after hours of researching I keep coming back to the same aftermarket loaders that are over priced for our needs. Trust me I'd love to have a loader, but from reading on here they are difficult to find and new ones are very expensive.

Thank you.

A regular 3pt angle blade or 3pt landscape rake will both work fine for pushing brush around if they can be reversed (ie face outward at the rear). Or, if the 3pt will lift the blade/rake high enough to go over the brush and drop down, you could drag it forwards before getting to the pile and then pushing backwards to get it into the pile.

Are you just trying to avoid having to do this while backing up, or is there some other reason you are only talking about the front of the tractor?

You know, honestly I'm just used to working with my dads tractor with a FEL. Never thought about a rear blade. That makes really good sense b/c there isn't a reason to only do it from the front.

Thank you
