So , how are y'all holding the MMM up to get the blades off with out the dayum thing falling over on me. Lets have it boys, aint much more getting done on it today

Skeets - this the deck for your BX2360?

If yours is like mine, I cut a couple pieces of 2x or 4x to fit under two small flanges on the deck. Not sure what they’re for, but work pretty damn well for the purpose.

Holds it pretty solid to service, etc.

About 7 7/8” seems to work well. I probably had the 4x4 kicking around and a piece of 2x4 on top was just the ticket.

Should have added I store it that way in the winter, and am able to drain the gearbox out the fill plug each spring.

I change them while the mower is still on the tractor. Either drive up on ramps or lift front end with FEL and use jack stands under the front axle.

I used to store mine this way...simple hook on the wall and chain it up. The weight of the deck is still on the rollers but the chain keeps it from falling over.

Thats how I use to do it as well,, but age and injury kinda makes things a lot less convenient,, old sucks

I raise the deck wheels all the way, then stand the deck up, grabbing at the front. The deck will stand on it's own on the shafts of the deck wheels.

Then I put a length of 2x4 under (and across) from shaft to shaft.

I use a piece of 4x4 to wedge the blade against the deck, so the blade doesn't rotate when loosening and tightening the bolts.

Mine is the 48 inch mower that is lighter but still. The dolly is a Home Depot convertible to either 2 or 4 casters and the handle can be relocated and extended that helps with the lifting and rotation.

www.Deckdolly.com I bought one of these and it works well. The only problem with it is it was only available painted in John Deere green . I am getting too old to wrestle the deck into position and move it about. This makes it easy. Good luck
