had a quiklook...
16T electric splitter at Home depot has 2.5HP motor ( 16 amps)
if I was heating with wood, I'd get electric...hassle free, QUIET...

The only only caveat I would have is that it is apparently only a 115 volt motor and as I discovered on my splitter it has less torque and tended to run hotter until I rewired it for 220. Maybe that one can be but there’s no indication in the specs that you can.

Only reason for a motor to run hotter on 120 as opposed to 240 ,is using a small gauge,long extension cord to power it. there might be some extra heat due to internal IIR losses, but it'd be designed for that.
