Ok, finally got the serial number for a l2250

the year "built" is a number that means ..... well - very little!
When sold and from that point forward is what is important - a machine could hang around at a dealer for 2 years and still be sold as brand new, thus the year bought is more important than the year made.
Now some models DO HAVE changes made mid run - thus the serial numbers is very important, not the year it was made or sold.
But ........ your machine was "built" somewhere between 1985 - 1990

That website looks like some great information... But, it's almost all guess work based upon someone saying this is when their tractor was made, not any factual factory info.

If you send an inquiry to Kubota customer service through the Kubota website, they will usually respond with the date of manufacture, the date of sale, and the original selling dealer. A Kubota dealer can do the same thing.
A "get it close" method is to compare the serial number to that of tractors with published serial numbers and dates. The serial number are sequential. Some used tractors for sale site list serial numbers and dates.
If you get the engine serial number, I believe that you can pin down the engines date of manufacture.
As an example, I own a 2017 B2650. It was made in 2016, and first sold in August of 2017. In tractor land, that makes it a 2017.

As @19thSF states.... This site will tell you the year your engine was built. BUT you need the ENGINE SN not any of the others. The manual will tell you where to find it. That's about as close as your going to get as stated above...
