Newbie post here! I've recently obtained a B6000 Kubota and want to change the oil as I have no idea when it was last done however I've seen on this forum that they don't have an oil filter but they have some sort of wire screen. Has anyone got a pic of where this screen is and where the sump plug is on these machines? My tractor has the battery running width ways instead of length ways if that makes any difference?
Cheers

Step 1 .. get and read the manual, for your safety and the tractors!
Step 2 .. change engine oil and engine oil filter
step 3 .. change hydraulic oil, hydraulic oil filter and flush hydraulic oil screen

I did a quick search here (mostly because I didn't believe that your tractor would have a screen filter for engine oil). Several confirmations, one post said the screen is somehow incorporated into the drain bolt, but I can't envision that. Anyway, like posted above you really need to get a manual for your machine.
I never had a grey Kubota, but did have a B8200 - the small Kubotas are beast machines! Hope you enjoy yours....

Attached you'll find two drawings from Kubota's website that might help answer your question. One is for the engine and the other the transmission.

Hope this helps and report back what you find.
