Dayum that oil thread was fun, Now lets go in another direction,, OIL FILTERS,,, We all know Bota doesnt make their own oil filters,, soooo whats a good Non Kubota filter? Bouta and HD's will all charge you more cause it has the name on it,,
So do we have a cross ref for filters???

you can go to Baldwin filters website and they have a crossover search tool. Also you can go to Wix filters website and use their competitor crossover tool as well. Wix filters makes filters for NAPA, Carquest, Autozone and other brands. For NAPA just use the last 4 numbers that Wix tells you and that is the part number for Napa i.e( wix pn# 533886 would be Napa pn# 3886 ) if you don't know the number of the filter you can also look up on these sites by Machine type, engine size and other options.

So the price difference between a prop. and generic engine oil
filter changed yearly would buy you a ....... coffee .................................
or save you a 1000th of property tax or 1000th of medical insurance ......

proper filter? no tractor maker (or any eqipment/auto maker for that matter) makes there own filters,oil,grease etc. Period. But if you want to pay more for a filter or jug of oil that say Kubota genuine whatever, go right ahead.
