I just got a used 82 Kubota B7001 and it didn't come with a manual I would like to change the oil on the motor and the transmission so dose ain't body know what type of oil I should use for both ?? and I also notice that I'm getting white smoke coming out the muffler every time I start the tractor and also when I accelerate the engine with the petal ..what would be the process of illumination ..??? thank you in advance johnny

Like mickeyd said, go to kubota books.com and download the B7100 manual, it's three parts, and yes it's as close as your going to get to a B7001.
Motor oil is simple, Rotella 15w-40 or any close diesel rated oil.
Hydraulic fluid is any UDT compatible fluid, same for the front axle.
Get Kubota filters, they are better, and they are the same as the b7100's filters.
White smoke is unburnt fuel, you probably have a bad injector.
You really need to check compression on all cylinders and check the injectors, the manual will tell you how.
And FYI: It's not a 1982, as they only made those from 1976 to 1979.

I was able to print out the manual and like you said it's as close as can be..thank you so so much really appreciated it..johnny
when I changed the fuel filter I had to bleed the lines and that's how I found out I have a bad injecter as it would not bleed..so thanks again you were right ..johnny

ok great I looked them up and got there number..so even doe one of the injectors does not bleed I should replay all 3 for my Kubota B7001..??

it would potentially save you a lot of time and energy by getting all 3 despite the cost
