Nice work, good looking trailer.
I am currently in the middle of a rebuild on mine. It was your standard 16ft equipment trailer built from 5" channel. However the original builders used 2" angle for cross members and it had the non brake 3500 lb axles. It served its purpose for 15 years and it got quite banged up during the three years I used it in my landscaping business, including having every cross member bent to make it look like a boat trailer when an excavator was unloading junk and used shingles and placed to much wait in the trailer to drag out the load.
So, mine is now extended to 24' with 18" beaver tail, 5200 lb brake axles, 2 5/16 coupler and a 7000 lb lift drop leg jack. I will put my tool box back on the tongue and it is getting new LED lights all the way around. I am also decking with PT pine 2x10's in stead of the 2x6's that most trailer builders use.
I should be done with mine on Thursday night or Sat morning at the latest.
Will start a thread and put a link in here for everyone.
