350$ excavator rental could have had the tree down, stump pulled, hole filled and ground graded out in 10 minutes.

I have some HF stuff too, and had pretty good luck with it.
I have also seen bent rams before.... but never bent into a 180+.
The bent ram on my excavator boom cylinder was bent .028 over 24"+.

Should have used their 3PH BH on their BX, would have only needed 2 guys to dig out that stump instead of 3.

I’ve got a HF log-splitter that does an excellent job and has a very good feature in that it splits logs both directions…both in extension and retraction…saving a lot of time…. HOWEVER,… I”ve been told “Good Luck” when it comes time to find seals for that cylinder or hose-fittings that will match-up with the HF machine should I ever need to replace a hose. I’m told it’s impossible and HF does not sell parts for it.
(However, I picked it up from a Katy, Tx store as it was the “floor demonstrator”… It had never been run …needed oil and hyd fluid…but it was already assembled an on-sale for $499. (normally about $1K)
So I bought it and hooked it up to the trailer hitch behind the truck and dragged it all the way west to Central Tx via I-10 and U.S. 71. (placard warns “NOT for Hi-Way, Not DOT compliant” or words to that effect…. I tied a red flag to it and had no problem.) Yeah… I’m a rebel.

Anyway… it splits wood “lickety-split” with a Chonda engine for 4 years now.

And yes… it’s made in china.…just like the ones at TSC which have “Kohler” engine sticker on it..that is otherwise Indistinguishable from the Chonda.

We’ve sold out as a nation and need to wake up and employ fellow Americans…if for no other reason than to keep them busy at a workplace so they won’t have time to break in and steal OUR stuff. (My church was broken into this very morning. …they took the computers with the church’s and everyones’ bank and personal info…and the audio/visuals systems.)
