I'm loving winter so far cold and snow wise. Had about 4" before christmas but it all melted by christmas day. I haven't used the snowblower yet.

The negative side is it's been foggy, raining and overcast and with the short daylight hours it gets gloomy and too muddy outside to do anything useful.

I used the blower and snow blade yesterday but we only had an inch or so. Kalispell got a total of 5" of snow in December compared to the typical 15" for that month. It's starting to get colder though and feel more winter like. We're supposedly going to see 3" to 6" of snow Saturday through Sunday.

Last year was the first year that I didn't have to use the snow blower on my B7500. I was hoping for the same luck this year, but it looks that idea will come to an end this weekend.

You’re getting it too, eh? We’re expected to get snow on the eastern side of NYS (I’m right by MA and VT). You have some very lovely ponds in Mendon. I used to live in the South Wedge, and would frequently take a kayak over there.

As I told my wife, when it comes to snow, you don't know if it is going to stick, and you don't know how many inches you are going to get until it is over. I would love to see another blizzard like that of 1978 just so another generation will have something to remember.

We're supposed to get 6-12" here in NH tonight from one of the most over-hyped storms in recent memory. Haven't fired the blower up yet since having to pay to have the couplers replaced at only ~35 hours of residential use.

Of course the ground isn't really frozen which means it will be a delicate operation with the back blade and blower on the long gravel drive.

Then rain on Tuesday, so typical messy winter that is the "new normal".....

We've barely had any snow in SW MT. There was some snow in Missoula the other day. My plow is on my Ranger, but I don't have chains mounted. I almost mounted them yesterday.

So far, the plow is unused for the year on the Ranger for the year. Also, the rear blade hasn't been used on the tractor.

We get snow into April, so I'm not ready to say there won't be any. :D. One of our biggest snowfalls was at the beginning of Feb a few years ago which is still a few weeks away!

Getting slammed so far in Central NH today! Over a foot here and still snowing like a banshee…luckily, it’s a very powdery and light snow so it will be an easy cleanup for the 5455HD blower!

Had maybe 1/2 inch of light snow today. Only plowed once in November and that was probably less than 5 inches total. On average, we normally have over 100 inches total per season here in the lake effect area near Erie PA.
We have been extremely lucky up to this point. That could change within the next few days, and will probably pay big time before the season is over.
Be careful and stay safe when you are working to clear the snow.

We ended up with about 6" of wet snow over the weekend. Not what I wanted, but we are still about 20" below average for the season.

Got about 6” over the weekend, mostly wet, slushy and messy. Mostly cleaned up, but I’ll get my 2 blade set up out and scrape it all off smooth. We’re supposed to get a little snow and rain before it dramatically drops in temperature, and freezes what’s left in place.
