I had to adapt the 1/2 pipe threads in the valve to the 1/2 JIC threads of the hoses. Only way I could get it work.
The Hydraulic Master "Koyker" loader valves listed on ebay all have BSPP ports - 1/2" BSPP inlets and outlets and 3/8" BSPP work ports. Their command of English is pretty poor.

A few questions on valves and also the stamping:

Why is “N” used for power beyond? What word does the “N” stand for (if any)?

Without the power beyond sleeve installed, what is the “N” port supposed to be used for?

I think N stands for neutral - a common name for the open center core.

On valves of this design without a power beyond sleeve the N port is functionally equivalent to the tank ports. All are conncted to the same set of internal passages (cores).
