no heat gauge or place in block

hey guys,does anyone know why they didn't put a gauge or place n block
on a 1994 kubota 23 0r 25 horse 3 cyl. diesel. thanks,keith

perhaps no one knows why Kubota did not put temperature ports on their blocks - just like you don't know.

On the engines that never came with a temp gauge, you have to get creative and find a place on the cylinder head to tap into. I had a B5100D,
2 cylinder that also didn't come with a temp gauge. I looked at the top of the head and as I remember there was a small freeze plug on the top. I was going to pull it out and tap the head or I was going to buy a new replacement plug and have a fitting TIG welded to the plug to hold the temp sensor. I would reinstall the freeze plug and install the sender. I never got around to it because I sold it not long afterward.
