I just lost a rear axle seal on my 2002 BX2200MLB. Pushed the seal back in place, put some sacrificial hydraulic fluid, drove it 100 feet in to my garage, drained the old fluid out , and picked up the seals for both axles, bought the super UDT fluid changed the spin on filter, changed the engine oil and filter. I was feeling great, turned the key to start the engine, and nothing. No dash lights when the key is turned on, no flashers or headlights, no crank, obviously. I know the battery is good, I hooked up the charger anyway, it was at 90%, now it’s at 100%. Is there anything I could have accidentally hit while doing any of the above service? I did jack the machine up and had it on jack stands, but I didn’t hit any linkage or wires, that I know of. I was mindful of where I placed the stands. Can anyone suggest where to start? I checked to obvious fuses right at the battery location, they are good.

Clean the battery cable ends and check the slo-blow fuse next to the engine oil filter.

Thank you, I will check on that now. Any reason a slow blow fuse would go? Like I said in my post I was only doing a fluid service. I never had the key on during. It obviously ran when I pulled in to the garage, and I didn’t touch the key until I went to start it after all was completed. I heard no clicks or anything, turned the key on first before cranking, and saw no lights. I heard no pop or anything

I have to thank you for pointing me to the exact location, not exactly a slow burn fuse problem, but now everything makes sense. I located and pulled the SB fuse. It looked fine, but when I looked at the plug that houses the two blades for the fuse, only one was visible. Now the part that makes sense. When I was changing the engine oil filter, I had to get my hands in several positions to get enough leverage, and I must have stressed one of the wires, and pulled the blade out of the SB fuse. I can’t thank you enough for pointing me to the problem. Finally back to operation:) Satisfying fix
