Today I carefully measured the rear details of 2502 and 3205. It’s a stupid way, but they are indeed almost the same. The CAT 1 is compatible and/ or CAT 2 and so on..... and there are adaptors to make cat 1 fit cat 2 and so on.
even the PTO shafts are compatible ..... until you find the one maker that decided to do something different - very rare.
But that JD model should fit fine - you may need to MAKE sure the PTO shaft will be long enough or SHORT enough to work as it should ......... a worst case scenario, the SHAFT is a bit too LONG and you raise the 3 point up, and BAM - the rear housing breaks , so be careful there. IF you must cut the shaft - look up how to cut BOTH pieces.
YOU PTO power on that machine is at the bottom of the scale for that blower btw....... you may be underpowered a bit!
Don’t laugh at me, I just found out today that the POT axis can be retracted, hahaI’m thinking that Hokie means the telescoping Drive-Shaft might be too long… not the tractors’ PTO shaft.
