Does anyone have experience with these new mowers. Im thinking of buying but don't know much about them.
Are they as good as the older models?

The newer one has improvements, like both fuel tanks feed at the same time, no switching. Digital readout for both fuel tank levels instead analog right side only.

Fuel filters are located in way better spot behind the floor panel, instead being trapped between frame and engine.

They are running those low profile tire/wheel combo like the kommander series not sure about the ride quality!

You have one less horse power than the 326. Plus the $700-800 uptick in price.

Sounds like they should be better. I wondered about the low pro tires. I am going from a GF1800 to a ZD. What are your comments on that move? I like front mounts but not a fan of the little GF bacause of the lack of power steering.

Front cuts are much better for mowing under pines. You can tuck the deck under them so less trimming. The zeros are faster, but that comes at a price.

The suspension seat helps but the beating will catch up with a bad back or neck? Also the zero turns are much worse for tearing up the turf with the inside tire on 180 degree turns, until you learn how to manipulate the handles.

The front cuts will set you back about 1/3rd more than the same size and horse power zero. But they can be setup for a snow blower or brush.

I can't speak first hand with the newer models. Went in to pick up a few parts for my ZD331 and was looking at one of the new ones- not sure what the number was. One of them is still offered with a 72" deck that the sales guy said might not be a great idea due to the lower HP, may want to look into that and get some opinions if you want a 72" deck. Personally I would have preferred a 60 for the quality of the cut, but I have a lot to mow so the 72 made sense for me.

Having a fuel level indicator on both tanks would be great, but I would still prefer to use only one side at a time. I top off after I'm done to limit condensation in the tanks, having to always top off 2 just means a little more work. I have to mow quite a bit to have to switch to the other side.

I did not notice the profile of the tires, but I like that mine have quite a bit of sidewall to absorb the unseen ruts and bumps. The seats on these are also quite good.

These are solid performers no matter what you decide, mine has almost 800 hard use hours and I have mostly only dealt with maintenance things. A starter wire worked loose and gave me fits, also dealt with water in the fuel system last summer. Other than that is has been good.
