Hi, guys. Long term lurker, first time poster here. I just wanted to say thank you for the invaluable information I found here that helped me make my decision.
I have 48 acres. Thirty-eight of which are wooded. The ten cleared acres are a mix of pasture, ponds, gardens and home site. I have an 800' driveway and about 700' of drainage ditch to maintain, as well.
Most of the work I've done so far have been done by a 1949 Ford 8N and my brother's JD 3203.
The little JD has done most of what I needed, but I knew it was a little too small. I started my search with the L3901 and walked up from there. Ultimately, I found an MX5200 for what I think is a great deal.
I also got the loader, box blade, and pallet forks at the same time.
