As an aside, but speaking of forks: My SIL just took delivery of a Vermeer S925TX Mini Skid Steer yesterday for his tree business.

And the very first thing he did with it, was to put the forks on to lift up an IBC tote full of firewood.

Congrats on the buy. My lx2610 is about 3 weeks old. You'll really enjoy it, and find more projects than time you can do with it.

Welcome! Killer B's do an amazing amount of work. You are going to enjoy that machine!
No doubt! But might look even more like a bee if he does some mowing with that tractor! :giggle:

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Probably needed to turn the engine off and dust off the grill before that stage.

You’ll enjoy this new tractor. I have the same one with a 54 inch MMM. It is a nice mowing tractor for me. Congratulations.

That’s been my luck…I’ve been there on all my machines that I have mowed tall grass with, and if in that case if not in the red light district yet it’s probably close.

That stuff is so light that it didn't seem to affect cooling at all. I did stop every so often to clear it off. I have a gas powered ECHO leaf blower that I use for that job. (y)

Yep. I am using a Milwaukee cordless blower since that is the battery platform I use….works great. IMO the screen under the hood, the MX has a crappier screen / more difficult to clean (compared to my B)…don’t forget that one. I think that one clogs up quicker and more packed on the outside. Either way the MX puts some heat off and it needs some air flow to help keep the temp down.

Same here. Dewalt blower. Turn the engine off first. I blow mind baby B off after mowing.

Congrats and welcome! Love my B2601 - just hit 50 hrs from doing all kinds of projects - and I am officially an attachment junkie now with all of them seeing use (bucket, grapple, forks, land plane, box blade, landscape rake, roller, flail mower, ballast box with storage roll cart, custom fab carry all frame and box, and a few more things I 'need')

I highly recommend a ballast box and 2 inch rear wheel spacers as it's not hard to find the little fella's limits.
