I would get your tractor and spend a lot of time with it figuring out what you can and can’t accomplish with it it before worrying about buying an excavator.

Ms Clinton, no pun it extended. Don't want to be on a tractor today. Hopefully early next week.
Well guys and gals the day finally arrived. YEA. Thank you all for the suggestions and info about my tractor. Idaho Tractor people where very helpful. Dave who delivered the tractor was fantastic with all the explanations and his main mechanic Kyle awesome. Here's a few pictures, enjoy.

Congratulations on the new tractor ! I'm taking delivery of a brand new one just like yours possibly by this Friday ! I put a down payment on it about 2 weeks ago, but they were not able to get it in the shop for assembly until this week.

Thank you . I was really close to buying a MF 2860 M , they’re really nice machines.
A lot more things that come with them on the deluxe cab compared to the L60, and they’re also a tier 5 .
Im getting the same tires you have, and hoping they are good all around. The normal R4’s are supposed to have traction issues on snow and ice.
Seems like the dealer kind of blew me off. Won’t answer any messages. Thinking since I’ve got buyers remorse already , before actually buying it , maybe will use this opportunity to back out. I put some cash down (a few K) , but even if I Couldn’t get it refunded, and went and bought a cheaper tractor I’d still be money ahead by a ways. Can get an equivalent Kioti (NS6010) for about $10k less.
You should do what you think right.
I note that a GL5460 is a pretty high end machine - it has a very sophisticated transmission with a lot of features. It's unlikely that a Kioti is equivalent, but if the Kioti does everything you want, then it may be a sensible decision. Dad had a big Kioti that he loved, he never had any issues with it.
Dealers do lots of weird things. Sometimes they get busy. Sometimes they don't really want to deal with people who are excited about their new tractor, because they're used to dealing with customers who buy and sell a few tractors and are quite happy to just wait for it to turn up. Some dealers are awful at doing anything electronically, and simply don't check their email.
is there anything actually going wrong with the dealer, other than that they didn't reply to your messages?

They finished it all up yesterday. The tire shop wasn’t able to get to doing the Rim Guard til yesterday .
So I decided to make a run over today and look at it all together.
When I pulled up and saw it out front, I was hooked !! lol.
The dealership has been swamped with things going on, which is why I hadn’t heard back anything til this morning. It’s a family owned operation, and really nice people. They have mine and another new large Kubota to deliver in my town for next week. So I may not get mine til Wednesday if they aren’t able to fit it on the same load.
That's a great looking machine. I'm sure you'll be super happy. Don't get cold feet at the last minute.

Before going to see it , I did stop by the MF dealer again to look at the 2860 M I was so close to buying .
And it was fate / destiny, they had sold it and would be a bit before getting any more of them or the 1840 M in. So I scurried over to the Kubota dealer and knew my decision as soon as I saw it .
