Hello everyone, just picked up L1501 tractor (792 hours)
Couldnt resist.
Looking forward to learning all about this fine little machine

Have a L4610 hst at work that i maintain. Is a good machine.
Will be definetly tapping into the resources here, as an automotive
Tech by trade i i may have some to offer as well

Hopefully i can find a few cheap accessories and a service manual of some sort
Blade tiller and snowblower would be my goal
It will certainly run my pellet mill,i imagine it will sip
Fuel compared to my cockshutt with a six cylinder gas.
Mill only needs 8-10 hp to work.

I Am so impressed with this little powerhouse,
Beyond anything i expected. Made up a
Trailer reciever for a ball hitch and
Pocket for two -2" square tubes to use for
Pallets. Moved a ton of stuff on pallets and
8 boats out of winter storage.

Compared to my 6 cyl gas job , this putt putt
Burns easily one-tenth of the fuel.

It deserves a few dollars spent on it
Seat, paint and decals are going to
Be on my winter list.

I got a service manual for an l175, parts breakdown also, will at least cover the engine and give a ball park on the rest. If its fwd then you would need the break down for an l185. Pm me with your email and i can send the pdf files

Hello, have just acquired a Grey Market Kubota....has a 3 cylinder diesel 16HP engine...serial no. 67176-47462 appears twice....anybody know what model or equivalent please....is it a "B" series....B1-16D???? or B1600.....lots of labels in Japanese! Would like to know what the labels say on the levers plus in order to get started on renovation....what oils and fluid needed....engine oil? gearbox oil? hydraulic fluid type etc etc? Looking forward to some help please. Toby (UK )

Welcome to the site if you click on the search feature and type b1600 forbthe search there are a ton of posts with a bunch of info on your tractor including the north american equivalent for parts.

I use 15w40 for the motor oil in all my diesels. As far as the other fluids, i'm not sure. On my little l series i use universal tractor hydraulic fluid for the transmission, but it's geared. Gonna switch to the kubota brand this fall. Just using what came with the tractor when i bought it for now. I don't think anyone on the site can read Japanese if you post some pics of the controls people will be able to help you out with which control does what. They really like there tractor porn
