I am not sure, runs great, just starting a mild restoration. The fenders are in poor shape, cracked with dents.

Can't find the data plate w serial number ? How can I tell year.

There is a serial number stamped into the transmission case on the right side (I think). You can take that to a dealer and they may be able to look up when it originally was sold.

Tractor data dot com says the L225 were made from 1974 to 1976.

Old Kubota Oragne is the real color I think. More of a red orange than the modern.

When doing mine, I looked at Allis Chambers Orange, which was a close match.

Ended up going with Chevrolet Engine orange and this was the result on my 1979.

Also, the blue on mine is completely incorrect, it is Ford blue.

Yours should probably be a midnight blue gray like mine should have been Not like the grey today. I was unable to find this color anywhere which is why I went with the royal blue.

You can't "look it up", take the number to a local dealer and they will tell you what year it was sold and that is the year of the tractor.

I can tell you it's not a grey.

One more question (famous last words) this is an adjustment for lowering the 3 point hitch? I see the knob is missing, is this a big issue to fix? It is hard to lower the mower smoothly...I hade just dumping it.

Shaft must be broken inside or you would have fluid shooting out.

It's not leaking at all, does seem to dump harshly. I probably should change the hydraulic filter
as well, not sure when its been done.
