I'm old school, and like manual that are paper, although I also have the owners manual and Workshop manuals. Being old school, i felt I had to have the paper owners manual for my BX tractor so I purchased it through Messicks. It wasn't cheap as it was over $50, but it was crystal clear print, and bound, as well as it was printed on both sides of the page. For the workshop manual I printed it out myself. Also I also keep a small NAPA charger hooked up during winter months. I recently had two days of minus 20. I didn't need to use the tractor, but I think it helped after the intense cold was over.
I'm a paper-pushing lawyer, and my kids are stronger with tech than me. I'd prefer to whip out my readers and thumb pages. One of my 9 nephews has designs on being a large equipment tech. Crossing fingers he follows through and stays in the county!

The direction on your right front tire is wrong. Someone may have turned the wheels inside out to increase the track width. If they both look the same, you’ll just have to swap them from side to side. If it’s only the one side, you’ll have to dismount and remount it.

Greetings from Florida. I just purchased a 2018 with 320 hours. I don't know the machine's history, but it looks to be in great shape. Is there a big thread here somewhere of everything to check and go through when a used machine is acquired?
Bight the bullet and buy a kabota factory repair manual. The other best alternative is to pay a journey tractor mechanic to maintain. You still need to be educated, to be able ask intelligent questions,i.e., study a factory manual. Then there's the shotgun approach!
Mine is @ 290 hrs, and I love it. I've drilled each fork, so I can move my many trailers, pallets of firewood, use as a temp work bench, painting platform(always the right height) etc.

Welcome, saw your story over on the "scary gun" site and I'd say you got a good deal.
What part of FL are you in?
I ordered my L2501 WSM on ebay, and found an older Kubota WSM binder there as well. I prefer to have the hard copy to use when doing work.
Highlands county. It does seem a bit more civil here, doesn't it? Gd has been a mess for a long time.

It's headed to a trusted mechanic this afternoon. I've shared you thoughts with him. Thx!

Were you the guy looking to buy a skid steer last fall? How did that go?
It's pretty country down that way.
This place can have its moments but at least we all seem to like tractors and guns.

We need that for the 2 larger properties. CAT regional sales friend advised us to rent this summer to see how it works for us. He also said its overkill to buy if its not going to be running early and often. 4 of our kids/nephews are in high school now. Operators shouldn't be a problem in a couple years.

Please inform the new owner that SHE needs to adjust HER seat on HER new ride ,so SHE can put HER seatbelt on. ;)

Also inform HER to be real careful driving it into YOUR garage. ROPS is really, really TALL on a BX23S ! She might not get all the way in, BTDT but not anymore....

Also IF you ever get a wiring diagram that is ACTUALLY readable ,please let me know. So far NONE of the online ones can be zoomed up to read the information in the connectors.
She must be a tough lil one...short sleeves ?????

How do you think I got away with it? "Look what I got you for Valentine's Day!" We are a good fit. She is not a roses and jewelry girl. "Happy anniversary! Do you like your All American pressure canner?" "How about that Wondermill Jr.?

I have gotten her quite a bit on non-romantic stuff, and she genuinely likes hit. She tends to click buttons when she wants something. I do take her on nice trips too. Our focus over the last couple years has been sustainability, so she's game for anything that improves it.

And I'm not worried about the barn as it is tall. I am worried about her trying to move around our animal structures. Those pretty small.

Eta: She and my son will also need a physics lesson about a weighted bucket, maneuvering and speed.

Your wife is small. The seat cutout can be annoying for small people if they don't adjust the seat properly - my partner sometimes has problems mowing because the mower stops if it thinks she's not in the seat.

Everyone is telling me to get forks! Why do I want forks? Handy with pallets and probably mulch turning, but where else do they shine?
Handy to lift everything. Anything you lift with a chain is easier to chain to pallet forks than to the bucket (unless you have chain hooks welded to your bucket). They're a poor man's grapple - you can load brush/sticks etc on them, whereas the bucket they fall out if they're longer than the bucket. You can tie things on to them. You can take a pallet and put low sides on it, and use it as a carry all when you're going places.

My forks are like this: https://www.implementsdirect.co.nz/.../novaquip-3-point-linkage-pallet-forks-700-kg. They're actually 3 pt hitch forks, I added pins so they'll go on my loader. I can use them to carry a pallet of treasure on the back, or on the front to lift things.

Pallet forks are good for putting things on shelves, putting things away, putting family members up in the air more comfortably than in a bucket, lifting trailers, lifting my portable diesel tank, moving my partner's dog equipment shed that I built, pretty much any lift and carry type task.

I can't quite see the SSQA on that. You may have a pin-on bucket. That would make pallet forks a bit more difficult.

Mine is not quick detach. Next door neighbor has a great machine for his sod business if I have a project that demands them. Also thinking about bolting teeth to the bucket to carry things around. That would also help with my mulch mountain.

"Bolting teeth"(forks?) to the bucket is generally considered to be a poor solution.
It significantly diminishes lifting capacity, and on your very small machine, will essentially limit you to lifting/carrying small bundles of dry feathers.;)

I take "bolting teeth" to mean bolt on forks. They have a reputation for bending buckets.

My B2601 has a pin on bucket. I got the Kubota pin on quick attach for it. Gives up very little capacity (it's lighter than an SSQA), and I modified my 3ph forks to connect.

I think something like this would be the equivalent for the BX: https://bxattachments.com/product/quick-attach/
Then you could put forks on.

Alternatively, before I got my quick attach, I used to knock the pins out of the bucket and then pin on the forks. It only takes 10 mins, not really any longer than bolting forks to your bucket. But a lot lot more useful, and less likely to bend your bucket.
