I'm new to Kubota and the forum and just bought a 2003 B7500 with FEL and pull finish mower. I plan to pick up on Thursday. I'm familiar with Allis Chalmers orange--I have two old AC tractors. However, this is my first Kubota, and really, my first modern tractor. The tractor seemed to function beautifully and was in quite good shape. It was stored inside and I bought it from the original family that purchased it. It has 800 hours and is a geared unit. Just thought I'd say hello. I'm sure I'll be looking for help on this old girl.

B7500 are great tractors. I do wish it had a 3rd range in the HST and a parking brake idiot light. Click on my signature line to see how much fun I have had with mine in the past few years.

Thanks guys. Is 800 hours a bad number? I think I overpaid, but I couldn't afford a new one and needed a loader. It is a clean tractor, cared for well, and doesn't smoke or anything like that. I worried about the high hours.

I don't think 800 is bad, it's actually pretty good low, I bought one with 499, but I think the former owner spread a lot of salt with it. I know of another one in my area that had 1100 hrs on it and it sold in 3 days. The only reason mine was around long enough for me to see it was the owner misspelled Kubota as Kabota and had little interest. Good luck with your tractor. So far I like mine.

800 hours is ......hardly broken in good!!!!

Check or replace all the fluids - 800 hours is one of those points that most everything is replaced

dont skimp on cheap oils .......$$$ now will save you a bunch of $$$$$ later!;)

Steve FL, Ya you might be concerned with high hours if it was 8000. Most homeowners might use their tractors 40-50 hours per year.

I've got a 1986 B8200 with "869 hrs 10-13" scratched on the oil filter. I changed the oil last weekend at 894 hrs. I decided to sell it. If I use it 25 hours in 3 1/2 years....I don't need it!

Keep the oil changed with good diesel oil, and a good filter....it's last a long time.

1030 hours on mine. The PO had the injectors replaced at 787 hours. Paid the dealer just under a 1000$ to replace then and do some other little stuff.

This is kinda what I was worried about. Should the injectors be replaced around 800 hours? Or was the tractor abused or something?
Not abused. Like new when I bought it. Mantained by the book and records kept for all the maintenance. The work order said it was low on power and the problem was bad injectors.
