Hi all, I just picked up a B7001. Picked it up right but neeeds some TLC. I'm in the process of changing out all the fluids and filters and basically going over the whole thing. I've got a couple questions for anyone willing to shed a little knowledge. First it's hard starting. I'll turn the key to the left and hold it there till the cows come home and the glow indicator doesn't light. Checked voltage to the glow plugs. I have battery voltage to them at all times. ?? Guess I have a key switch that's connecting that circuit all the time. Could that have burned out my indicator and glow plugs? Probably will need the whole circuit replaced. Comments??? 2nd question. My front drive shaft cover on the top end near where it connects to the transmission. On the top end of the cover is a nylon insert with I think an o-ring for a seal that goes over the driveshaft and inside the cover. Well that bushing popped out of the tube and i'm trying to figure out how to keep it in there without it popping out. A liitle tight to get in that section since it's right over the pedal linkage shaft or tube. Thanks for any input!!!

On the starting issue. I found that I could only see the glow plug indicator light at night, was never bright enough to see in daylight. About 30 seconds should do it, unless it is way below freezing.
I replaced all 3 glow plugs last month, and mine is now quite a bit easier to start.

I have constant voltage to the glow plugs, no matter what position the key switch is in. I suspect this may have burned the glow plugs and indicator up. Doe this circuit go thru a relay or wired right from the key to the indicator and glow plugs? Thanks.
