Well i just ordered Titan pallet forks, wanted landpride but $1,000.00. Occassional use normally lite duty so i thought i would give them a try.

My 3901 now has 48 hours and outside of hst whine, we love it. Ear protection takes care of that and we keep rpms up so regen no more issue.

Great little tractor

What size forks did you get?

It seems that after Kubota took over LP they raised all the prices.

I purchased the 48" United Attachments forks from Titan. They are extremely handy. I have been able to do more work safely with them. If I had purchased a beefier model it would cut into my lifting capacity. For occasional use you can't beat them.

I don't know if I have "over used" my Titan forks but they have done exceptional with everything I have asked them to do.

Thats good to hear. I am not using them to routinely move industrial pallets, just stuff around my 4 acre homestead. Gotta lift box blade now and then, lots of pine limbs and other small stuff. Storm last thursday brought one pine tree and many limbs to the ground. Thought it a good time to buy forks i was going to get anyway

I have a set for my skid steer, and they are great. Much better than clamp on forks.

I bought a set of Titan forks for my 2PH and they work great. They have side to side adjustment that fits most pallets. Throw a couple of clamps on and you have a lift for driving in T-posts. :D

Drive posts?????? Not sure what ya mean.

I took most of the pine away from the house and pretty much left with limbs and the trunk. Cant take rest of trunk away unless i cut smaller for the bucket. So forks due here thursday, good job for friday.

I do see with the size and quantity of limbs fork extenders could prove value added. That may be a diy project unless there is a real good price out there.

Be certain to read this most recent thread about the grief an owner experienced using his forks.

http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37048

The forks, used for back dragging logs, add a tremendous amount of leverage working against the bucket hydraulics.

Dave
Thanks a ton. Will try to work around back dragging with forks AND make sure angle is correct back dragging with the bucket. Much appreciate you taking time to post.

Forks arrived today. Minor damage i believe in shipping, left front rail bent some and it appears in shipping. Forks appear stout enough, welds appear ok, if i had to guess i'd say flux core. Paint ok, couple voids in joint. However, there sure is plenty of material there. 1/2 price than local LP dealer, so for my purposes of occasional use should be fine. Took couple pics just in case. Cooler weather next couple of days, so we can try them out.

7/10/2018: Clean up on downed pine all done. Would not want to tackle this job without the 3901. Forks went a long way in making this job allot easier, especially moving the tree trunks. Did not have to cut the longer limbs nearly as much, just stacked then hauled to the burn pile. Obviously first time using pallet forks and although not an every day tool for an average guy, I am glad they are part of the fleet..AND WE WERE VIGILANT WRT BACK DRAGGING, THANKS AGAIN FOR THE YOU TUBE LINK.
