New project - lots to do!

[Kubota Newbie]

New (old) helper for the M4500. Needed a lot of little things.
The short list:
Carb rebuild.
6-12 volt conversion (alternator and battery) and wiring replacement.
Hydraulic filters.
Engine oil change.
Battery box.
Tach and cable.
Convert from low slung to vertical exhaust.
New seat.
Amp to volt meter conversion.
Still to do......
Clean hydraulic control orifice.
Engine oil pump gasket/cover resurfacing (oil pressure sucks when hot). Hope that fixes it!
Check adjustment of Torque Amplifier.
Change lights to 12 volt.

The old girl has about 6 less HP than the M4500, but considerably more torque. Delivery weight was about the same.

Love seeing the oldies brought into service. Along with the MX5400 I have a Ford 860 which has done an amazing amount of work.

My old IH 544 Hydro was my favorite machine for loader work and mowing but I do like the cab and AC on the MX I'm using now but it's not near the machine the old IH was.
