New Mower Deck not cutting (RCK60-32)

Have just bought a B2601 and have installed the 60" mower deck (RCK60-32) but I cannot get it to cut the grass.

Is appears to be correctly connected and when I engage the drive chain I can see the belt spin but not sure if it is spinning fast enough or something else is installed incorrectly.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What RPM's are you running it at?

Take a look at the blades ? Are they maybe on upside down. Make sure the beveled up edge is facing upwards towards the bottom of the deck , and the cutting edge is facing away from the deck. also is this the proper deck for your tractor ??

The RCK60-32 is the correct deck.
How about some more history.
Age of tractor and did it come with the deck?
Is the deck new or used?
Your reference to "drive chain," is puzzling as there is no chain driving implements on a B2601.
The mower would be driven by a shaft from the mid pto.
The proper engine rpm for mid and rear pto operation is marked on the tach.
This engine speed produces 540 rear pto speed and 2,500 mid pto speed.

seriously though, check the blades. even up here DEALERS have been know to install them upside down !

Blades upside down…more than once after doing my Springtime greasing, sharpening, scraping routine, I have started mowing and saw the “terrible”’ cut. Dammit! Blades are upside down!

Cautiously lift the chute deflector. Are the blades turning? If so, like he previous posts, check to see if the blades are upside down. Angled cutting edge of the blade is up.

Is it bogging down, Is it literally not cutting any of the grass. or is it just doing a poor job of cutting (half cut)
