Good morning fellow Kubota fans. I am a plumbing contractor in southern IL. I bought an L3130 HST with a woods 7500 backhoe new in 2004. Shortly before the new year I ordered an L3560HSTC with a kubota BH92 backhoe. I am currently still using the 3130 until delivery of the new tractor. I am greatly looking forward to a cab tractor. Supposedly it's sitting in Columbus, OH getting prepped for delivery to my dealer. It can't get here quick enough. I have been pleased with the 3130. No issues that weren't taken care of by warranty. Hopefully the 3560 will continue in this vein. Nice to meet you all. Good looking forum.

Anyone remove the back cab glass for easy reach of loader, throttle, and cruise control levers?

Still waiting for it. I'm In week 5. I'm Beginning to wonder if there's a problem getting one of the parts. My dealer has told me "should be here next week" for 5 weeks now. Anyone know of any problems at the Columbus warehouse?

ILP,

You are in the very high strata of the Orange Elite here with a cab on order. Even some of our Canuck friends in the Great White North don't have cabs. My buddy just north of Columbus wears a snow mobile suit and is fine except for his hands and face. He dreams about having a cab this time of year.

Knowing I could never afford a cab, I moved to Arizona.:D

Your cab will show up right in the middle of summer. Let us know how it goes and please post some pictures!!! We wanna dream too!

:)

As one living on a Canadian island East Coast and a new owner I thought I could get along just fine without a cab. Living in a wind tunnel and blowing snow reminds me why mom never bragged about her smart son. Ordering a custom sized cab today from a welding artist. He will build a nice basic custom cab for $2500. I have seen his work and don't know how he can do it for that price. Full option setup is $3,800. I can't really afford it but being old and sore focuses want VS need more these days.

In my area of IL it can be -5 F or 102 F. Depending on how nice Mother Nature plays. I've grown tired of being hot/cold. My L3130 seems extra cold since I've ordered the cab tractor. I feel like I'm getting the run around from my dealer. I'm Guessing delivery would have been more timely if the dealer wasn't already paid in full.

I look forward to a larger hoe and a warm cab for backfilling/ playing in the snow.

Hi, and welcome.

I love my new 3560, no cab though. It is a great tractor. The modern features are wonderful, make it easy to use.

It is possible your dealer is dragging his/her feet for a reason. There is a recall/campaign from Kubota for the 60 series tractors that came out the first week in Dec. They have to add some small part to prevent water from freezing an exhaust valve shut, or that is how I understood it. It is important to get it done as it could cause damage to the engine. The part for mine has just come in and tney are going to install it Wed. My dealer would have caught it when they did the dealer prep, the tech said, but mine was delivered just before the bulletin came out.

They may have been waiting for the part to come in for yours. In any case it might be worth your while to call and make sure it has been done before you take delivery. We are not out of cold weather in this part of the world.

Have fun, you will think you have died and gone to heaven with that tractor plus cab!

I agree with you 100 percent that the recall needs addressed before delivery. But I do think there should be better communication from the dealer as to what the delay is. Stringing me along week to week makes them look 1. Like they don't know what they're doing. Or 2. Shady.

Yes, several people have thought that better communication on the part of Kubota and some of the dealers would be better all the way around. I'm not sure what the hangups are. :(

Good thing you mentioned it was at your dealer. I was just about to offer to pick it up for you! I am only an hour away from their warehouse. .. and I too dream of having a cab for my tractor. I had a cloth one on my older one but it only blocked the wind and snow would stick to the vinyl windows. Welcome to the family!
