Hi folks.
New member here.
Unlike most other forum sites that I've been a member on, I'm not seeing anything here on OrangeTractorTalks, for a 'new member introduction' page or the like.
Am I missing it...?

Anywho...
Brand new today, first time on the site.
Have on-order right now, a MX5200, with a rotary cutter RCR2672, with a box blade BB1272.
Quite an investment...
Live in the Dallas TX area, but just bought early this year, 35 acres in the Talihina OK area, for a retirement property, to hopefully live permanently on, within the next 15 years.

Buying the tractor and implements to maintain / improve on the property.
Would appreciate any tips on using this tractor, and implements, if anyone has suggestions.

Thanks for your review!

Welcome to OTT, sound like a nice set up you are getting.

Are you going to be leaving the tractor in Talihina OK? Is there someone around that can keep an eye on it for you or a building to keep it in?

Hi, and I don't think you missed the welcome page - or if you did, I did, too. Unlike most web sites this just seems to be one where you just jump in. I do envy your proposed retirement spread. I'm sure you'll enjoy it for many years.

Hughes,
Yes, there's definitely a building on the property to store all the new equipment coming. A good question for sure, I definitely would not be leaving all this equipment out and exposed.
The seller, had a mobile home in the past, which burned down. He'd built a large workshop behind the mobile home, it's insulated, concrete floor that was over-built, to put a bull dozier in, etc, when he cleared most of the acreage. The big selling point for the property for sure!

Roadworthy,
Thanks for the confirmation, that I wasn't being absent-minded.
Yes, am pretty excited about it. Fingers-crossed, it all works out, since it's still so many years out.

Welcome neighbor! I retired in Dallas and moved to Texarkana 2 years ago. Got a small tree farm over here. Jack of all trades, master of none.
Ray.

Thank you for the welcome guys.
Yeah, I wanted 'space', due to being in the concrete jungle for decades, listening to cars, sirens, etc-etc.
Fingers crossed, I'll take possession of the new Kubota in 6 days!
