Just a few days ago I bought a new L2501DT with loader, 66" bucket, 3rd function valve, SSQA, filled R4 rear tires, less than one hour on the meter. So far I have about 7 hrs on the meter using it for maintaining 40 acres of mature pines and a 1/4 mile driveway.
I'm really impressed with what it can do for it's size compared to larger tractors that I've operated over the years.

Before the bucket made it's maiden dig and hour meter.

I’ve had my L2501 HST for two weeks and couldn’t be happier. I was hesitant about putting a 5’ rotary cutter on it because I had always heard the 5 hp per foot rule and it only has 19 hp at the pto. I also previously had a 24 hp Yanmar 2000 (great old school machine by the way) that I ran a 4’ cutter on and it was all she could handle. But the dealer assured me that the 2501 could handle it. Let me just say that after bush hogging six acres of tall pasture grass that the Kubota handled it with ease, I was super impressed. This tractor continues to surprise me, it really seems to have more than 25 hp. I’m actually starting to think that the 2501 is a sleeper just to get around the emissions laws. Congrats on your new tractor it’s a great machine.

Congrats! My 2501 continues to feel like more than 25hp also. 5ft finish mower in taller grass than it was made for [let it go too long] and handled it easy. Great power out of such a small package. You'll love it the more you use it!

Congrats on your new L2501, I got mine just over a week ago, had .5 hours, now has 2.5. I'm loving it. More than enough tractor for me.
