Looking at buying a 2601 with the la435 loader, saw some older pictures when they came out and looks like the lastest ones have a extra hole for a pln where it attaches to tractor. Did they add a safety pin to the new ones? Can't find a manual online? Thanks

I don't think it has anything to do with self leveling, they changed the brackets and added a boss and looks like its for a pin.

That looks like the same hole I have on the old style loader, for the old style pin. Perhaps they're making the loader fit both old style and new style? I know some people worry about the clip on not being durable, so maybe for those people they can choose to put the pin in like they used to. (To be honest, I'm not sure why they moved to the lock/clip style, since I can do the pins without leaving the seat and to me they seem way more durable).

Thanks much better picture than I had, still wondering why they changed design on a NEW designed loader?

I doubt that hole is for a pin. There’s no clip for the sliding safety pin to keep it in there.
I’m friendly with a service mechanic at my local dealer, and he told me to be happy I have the older 434 loader.

From that angle, that hole looks smaller, and in a different location I think, than the pin hole on my older style loader. So I doubt it's for that.
