Looking to close on a new L3800 package deal. Here are the implements included in the package.

5ft Mohawk brave 5 (box blade and mower special $1500)
5ft Armstrong box blade BB05
Armstrong 42" pallet forks PFLT $550
Armstrong 64" grapple BGRLT $120

Not familiar with the brands but would like to hear opinions from members.
Also for those running a L3800 should i step up to a 6ft mower?

I went with the 5' hog I do have 6' but haven't tried it on it . It may do fine but I felt the 5' was more the right size for it .

For a dt l3800 with land pride box scraper , rotary cutter and loader. With a trailer it's $22500 + tax around here $23900 for hst. Don't know if that helps you or not.

My L3200 handles a 5ft mower fine. I really wish I had a 6ft. I don't know anything about any of those brands. Mostly, tractor dealers will not sell something that they think might come back on them. Their reputation is worth more than getting a quick sale on a cheap product. Compare construction with Land Pride, Woods, or any name brand implement (Ford, Deere, Kubota, etc.). If it matches up OK, go for it.

That's a deal. I'd almost have one trucked in from oregon even if I only got to keep from giving the local welfare (I mean tax man) the $1680 he'd tax me here in Indiana

I have 5 & 6 foot mowers and the L3800DT handles both just fine. What I don't like about the 6' is it hangs out past the rear tires and will hit trees, fence post, etc... Very nice open spaces though.

I like the 5' finishing mower on my L3800. No doubt the tractor could easily handle a 6'. Lots of trees, flowers, and obstructions to navigate around and the 5' mower behind a 5' wide tractor makes it easy!

I have been using a 6' rhino finIsh mower on my l3000dt and it handles it fine. I like that I have the extra 6" past each tire. It keeps me from running over grass and not getting a good cut. It makes it looks like crap IMHO when the next day after mowing you have a bunch of stragglers popping up. Stepping up to 6' is giving you 20% more cut per pass. It adds up. I only use a 5' rotary mower as my tractor doesn't have enough butt for my comfort level on a 6' rough cut

BTW here is my deal.
L3800 HST, R4 tires, SSQA 66" bucket, 42" pallet forks, 5' mohawk mower, 5' armstrong box blade, 64" armstrong grapple. He is throwing in the right fender handle, the optional air filter and filling my tires all for $24,000. Oh plus the first 100 miles is free deliver. I think its a fair deal.

Now for the fun part - figuring out what to use first! So many toys, all at once...

Thanks fellas finalized the deal today on the L3800 waiting on deliver and ordering the 3rd function from everythingattachment
Congrats on your buy. I've only had mIne a month and have put 26 hrs on it. I own other larger tractors and am surprising pleasing with my little 32hp Kubota. It's handier than a shirt pocket

Yeah, same here. Surprised & impressed! I've not used our much larger tractor after getting the L3800 over two years ago.
