After 3 years of reading and thinking about it I finally made the choice and here it is, L3240 HSTC-3, moved a 1200lb square bale with no problem, will need an implement on back for more stability. Can't wait till spring!

I have an L3240 w/FEL also. They are nice machines with a lot of neat features. Working around our place is our hobby and the Kubota enables us to work smarter not harder. Cut down two hickory trees the other day and pulled them out into the open to work them up. Loaded the wood in the bucket took it to the wood pile and pushed the brush into a pile to be chipped. Love it!

Babyfat: Thanks for the prices. I will jot that down in my "wish book".

Hook: Sounds like something that I'm gonna do. We have a bunch of Maples that like to come down when the wind really gets blowing. It will be nice to just hook onto those bad devils and pull them out where you can work on them - instead of fighting the brambles and the small samplings while carrying a chain saw back into the woods. I'm looking forward to "testing" my 3800 and see what it will do.

Absolutely tk. Like I said, work smarter. You will be pleasantly surprised how much easier it is with the help of the Kubota. The only down side was that the ground was wet and I got some mud on the trees dragging them out. You know what that does to a sharp chain saw. I was dragging with a chain hooked to the draw bar. If I had hooked onto the 3 pt hitch I could have raised them up a bit and I wouldn't have got as much mud on them. Live and learn.
