Hey folks, excited that I found this site. My new MX5400 was just delivered today! I have been using a MF 231 for the last 4 or 5 years. Got permission to upgrade from the boss lady if I sold it. I have 20 acres of mostly pasture, where we raise pastured poultry, deep litter/pastured pigs, and grass fed beef. I'll be using it to help with fencing, bush hogging, and unloading feed. Possibly hay in the future. I decided on the MX5400 mainly for the lift capacity, as I wanted to be able to unload 1 ton feed bags without issue. I'm super excited to get started on a few farm projects soon!

Welcome aboard. I too have the MX5400. Got it in December. I also picked it for lifting capacity over the L series.
I'm sure you will be happy with it.

Nice!

Ordered my MX5400 last week. R1 tires, 3rd function, two rear remotes, level rod indicator, HST, QH15 quick hitch, heavy duty bucket option.

Almost the same as mine. Very nice machine. I added three rear remotes so I could use one for an implement and two for top n tilt. A canopy and a rear view mirror.
I really like this machine.
I use it in construction type projects and equipment yard work. No ranching or farming.
I wish I had a better way to chain down the back when trailering it.

Great news! But Owning/operating might be a better forum to post this in than site news and suggestion box! ;)

Congrats should serve you well !! Curious how your going to ballast tractor when you do a ton of feed
Thanks. I have loaded tires, but I do also plan to get a ballast box for hauling logs, etc. For the bales, I'll have a spear on the back too.
