I was looking at these too. A little too small for me but damn a nice tractor anyways. I’m still really thinking about the hx115 pretty hard not too….
I would think that an HX1151 and an RX7340 would make a really nice pair of tractors for some folks, but I would say the same about an M5-111 and an M7060. Honestly, I'd be thrilled to own either pair, or some combination of the four. 😂

Stopped at Kioti he looked at my tractor said it’s worth $85,000 and I could get a Kioti HX1151 (115hp) with loader for $110,000 has 3 remotes. The kioti has so many options compared to the kubotas. The kioti loses quite a bit of hp on the pto compared to Kubota but 83hp pto is more than sufficient. Just wondering what you good folks would do in this situation
I watch farmer George Saunders in England on YouTube and he got to test out a Kioti HX1402 and HX1202 (?) in real-world conditions. He was impressed with both and I laughed at his "it's a tiny little tractor" comment. George has a small dairy farm by US standards but he's the real deal when it comes to using tractors and implements on the farm, and not some click bait YouTube wanker doing endless "will it start" videos.

Obviously the nomenclature for the UK models is different but I imagine that the HX1151 is similar to the HX1202, but I have to say, that HX1402 is a very nice tractor. George makes the point that it has just the right amount of complexity in the cab, for example, the rear remotes being manual over hydraulic just like most of our Kubotas rather than electric over hydraulic.

I’ll have to check out the video. Thanks I have been busy with family issues here but still trying to decide what to do I’m really no rush

So before I go into a long speech I do realize this is a Kubota forum haha. So today I got rained out at work and went for a drive. Stopped at my local Kubota dealer and Kioti dealer. Got talking to the Kubota dealer asked what my 2018 M6-111 with m46 loader and 3700hrs was worth on trade for a new m6-114s or m6-111 power shift my tractor is worth 80,000CND and new tractors are worth 136,000 and 159,000 with loader and 3 rear remotes. Stopped at Kioti he looked at my tractor said it’s worth $85,000 and I could get a Kioti HX1115 (115hp) with loader for $110,000 has 3 remotes. The kioti has so many options compared to the kubotas. I'm in Orlando, FL. The nearest Kioti dealer is in Ocala, FL, about 65 miles away. Will that Kioti dealership be around 2-3 years from now or will it go the way of many other past Kioti dealerships and drop the brand? Who knows. Saving money on the initial purchase price then it's Kioti over Kubota. Resale value on used Kiotis is terrible. Kubota resale value is Top Notch. Finding service for Kioti is terrible. Kubota dealerships are everywhere. This is similar as when my old boss bought a Chevy Colorado over a Tacoma because it was $8k cheaper. The 5 cylinder POS Chevy engine blew up at 45k while many Tacoma's have 200k trouble free miles. Short term savings (Kioti) or long term savings? (Kubota)

I heard that from several used Kubota tractor owners I looked at this summer. They are still sitting on Marketplace with lowered prices. It's only worth what you can find someone to buy it for. I saw some that included sales tax in the purchase price listing inflating their values.

Good day.

Wow…that’s good to hear.

How many trouble free hours of use have you put on it since your purchase in 2019?

I would be willing to bet that my price/value estimate is accurate for today's market.
I am not ready to sell,..... but then too, I will be 84 in a very few weeks.
I suspect that a first serious looker would be a buyer.
How many used L48 TLBs are out there, (in the NE) with all the bells and whistles,...... and only 263 hours?

Thank you. Yes John Deere and Kubota have the best resale value but I guess one has to look at that and figure if it’s worth the extra premium up front.

Exactly! And I don't see people figuring in inflation when they say "I sold it four years later for what I had into it, so it was basically free". The money you get for whatever you sell buys less than it did four or five years ago. That variable needs to be in the equation.

Personally, I never buy anything with the idea of it being an investment. I buy something because I want or need it, and for tractors it's both for me. I plan on keeping my two for many, many years and couldn't care less as to how much they're worth today or ten years from now. My only concern is that they work, that they help me achieve goals, that I maintain them and that I enjoy having and using them. The more you use a tractor the lower the cost/hour is. People who sell a tractor having only put 50 to 100 hours on it during many years of ownership did not spend their money wisely. I prefer to put many hundreds if not thousands of hours on my equipment.

I wasn't just kicking tires, but actually looking at all 3. Really struggling w this decision since I broke my Kubota L4310 (totally my fault cracking the block during freeze). Gave me a good reason to buy a cab w more horsepower. Looked at Kubota M7060, Deere 5075e premium cab, Kioti RX7320. Made myself look at all 3 but I really wanted Kubota. All 3 good dealers and about same distance to house. Really didn't want Kioti but looked at them since I liked the dealer (good service on attachments and straight shooter).

I'm used to the Kubota everything! Loader function, maintenance, etc. I have Kubota sidekick RTV -850, also have 2 Deere Side by sides 855d and 835, and Deere 950M zero turn mower. Used both dealers for maintenance and trust both.

However, priced out all 3 and am SHOCKED at price difference. Total Cost over 5 years over the Kioti (~$0)= Deere $11k more, Kubota $16k more. These are all priced with 2 rear remotes, 3rd function, cab and loader. Drove all 3 multiple times. Like the Kubota slightly better (maybe familiarity). Deere not the best of my liking but BEST cab. Kioti was in the middle. Turn radius on Kubota and Kioti similar, Deere not as much.

Positives of Kioti
-Great turn radius
-Most horsepower but splitting hairs
-Most lift capacity both front and rear
-Clutch button on gear shift. (my leg still hurts from driving my Semi's)
-I like the plastic hood over metal
-72 months 0% financing
-BEST WARRANTY of all 3. They are standing behind their product

Negatives on Kioti -
- Didn't want to buy one
- Slowest loader Raise time of all 3
-Concerned about Resale value (however not sure i'll sell it in next 5 years and MUCH cheaper)
-Loader constricts view in front, sets up higher than both Deere and Kubota
-12 speed but over 3 gears Low Medium High. I'm sure you get to know but seems like a bit much and mulitple shifting. Need to convey to wife and Boys driving

Deere 5075e Premium Cab positives
-Best cab, air ride seat, well laid out
-Buddy Seat
-Large tires same as Kioti
-Fast raise time of loader
-I like the plastic hood over metal
-Best or top Resale
-Deere Cache, dealers, resale etc

Deere Negatives
-More than Kioti about $11k
-Ride was best with the Air ride seat but shifting, same problem as Kioti with H/ M /L too many gears
-Turn Radius worst of 3 ( noticeably)
-Lowest PTO of 60.3 (vs 63 and 64 of Kioti and Kubota)

Kubota Positives
-Great turn radius
-ONLY 4 cylinder motor of the 3. Not sure if that's value or not but I see it as a plus
-I'm familiar with Kubota and like the brand
- fastest Hydraulic lift
-12 speed but over 2 gears Low and High. I'm sure you get to know but seems like a bit much and mulitple shifting. Need to convey to wife and Boys driving
-Automatic 4 wheel braking on 12 speed transmission. This is key because you need it only a couple times in life and may save life!
-Great turn radius same as Kioti

Negatives of Kubota
-Highest Insurance which makes it most expensive
-Shortest 0% term
-No Cash buyout option (avg $4000 on both other options but I will finance)
-Drive train warranty longer than Deere but shorter than Kioti
-Most expensive to add 3rd function and 2nd remote

I know this is a long list and a little specific to my needs but I'm really struggling with this case study. Now leaning towards Kioti, which is the one i want to own the least but on paper and real life the one that wants my business the most!

Thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated and welcome!

JL

So to close out, I ended up buying the Kubota M7060. Biggest reason was because I own a Kubota open cab and have better familiarity with it. Also I did not get the Kubota insurance which was crazy high.

I appreciate the responses that said "can't go wrong with any of the choices." That actually really helped me get out of the Weeds and make a decision.

I will say that it was a coin flip between Kubota and Deere. The Kioti dealership is incredible and I wanted to do business w them but hesitated on longer term parts, service, # of units sold etc.

Also my perspective, I've sold computer technology for 30+ years, love it, adopt it, see the value and productivity gains, but don't want too much on my tractor. I see the value for farming large tracts but don't need it for shredding, moving trees w grapple and using box blade. Thx forum for your help!
