New here... new BX25D

Hello,

I just got a BX25D, and added a thumb to the backhoe. I noticed there is what appears to be a mount point for a hydraulic cylinder (or could be used as one). Anyone do anything with this? Why is it there?

I believe that is where the Kubota thumb attaches. At least that's where it attaches on my bh77.

Yes,

as others have said - that is one of the several upgrades from the BX25- to the D model......the thumb mount

other improvements were arm rests, digital readouts, slight bucket change, brake pedal move and a few more that I can not remember.

Welcome to OTT great site, lots of folks have posted many a good things to do to your new rig, some things you should do, and some things that my not be a good ideal. Check the treads and postings for all kinds of good information sometime ideas and ways of doing stuff comes along that just may be exactly what fits your needs. I have found some great hints and may even passed on a couple.
