I'm am adding the rear remote for a hydraulic top link which ones works the best for box blading and mowing? I'm pretty sure I want one that doesn't float?

I know they make a cylinder specifically for use as a hydraulic top link.

However, before I knew any better, I used an ordinary double-acting cylinder as a top link and it works just fine. I run a 65" box blade with scarifiers behind my 2650 and I've had zero problems with it holding position.

I'm sure there are perfectly good and logical reasons for using a purpose-built cylinder, I just don't happen to know what they are.

Paul - I have no experience, but I think the float function is dictated by the valve control, not the cylinder.

For the OP, I'm sure there are some resources here, if you search "top and tilt" or something similar.

One of our members here makes some great looking kits specifically designed for the machine.
