Huh? You'd wind up with a broken excavator. If you want to grade with an excavator they make buckets for that sort of thing.it would be pretty awesome to be able to toss a boxblade onto an excavator.

Thanks for the link. Been looking for first hand experience.May not be ATI but this guy uses one
I know an old post but been thinking of getting one. Either ati or rockhill. Both around the same priced shipped. How is your ati holding up? I want to use it for forks but I have lots of ssqa implements . Broken yet? Would you buy ati again? How handy is itAttached to backhoe yesterday. Attachment plate between the ears would hit the stick when fully curled. Notched the plate back an inch. Still hits but have over 180 degree curl swing.
Thanks, wound up buying a construction attachments SSQA unit instead of the ATI. On my kx040 excavator. I have a 6 foot man basket but haven't tried it yet with that. Works great with forks. I have an augur for the excavator - works really well for drilling holes. Much better than a 3 point hitch modelIt’s a specialty tool that doesn’t get much use…yet. Used with forks and man basket to reach for some farm building maintenance. Don’t like or couldn’t use ladders. That particular job(s) were worth the investment.
Plans to also use auger or Danuser Intimdator to reach where the FEL can’t. Haven’t got the thumb lines converted to QDs yet.
Don’t feed hay anymore but it would have been handy to stack round bales in a pole barn built for square bales using the backhoe.
The ATI adapter is built well. Heavy in the right places. While I’m using on a backhoe, it would add versatility to a minix.
