New BX2660 Grill guard

My used BX2660 didn't come with a grill guard. I looked into fabricating my own or modifying a factory newer BX guard, but I found this one

Ordered it Thursday and it showed up Friday! I spent a 1/2hr on the phone talking BX Tractors! (he designed this around his personal BX2370)

I'm pretty impressed with the design - the base is mounted on 1/2" plate steel with tie down points and incorporates a 2" receiver hitch

Here it is with the removable upper guard attached

And you can open the hood without removing the upper guard!

The removable upper grill guard is for allowing the plastic grill / sides to slide off forward when accessing the oil filter for service on the BX 2x60 & 2x70 series

What did this run you? I have the factory grille, but I would love to add a hitch to the front of my BX.

it is a very small family run company in New Holland PA, they are not high tech, they do not focus on the web, at all. They are a local fabricator making attachments for agricultural equipment around their local area.

I reached out to John at Earth & Turf to see if they could fab a bracket, just a simple square rectangle that could attach to the front bolts to allow for hanging some small suitcase weights on the front. He said they are going to give it a shot!
