thats a hellva day to unload your new machine!!!!

The are lots of things you "need" for your bx.....

for starters...

get you some lights for your ROPS
get a tooth bar for your FEL
the trenching bucket is available too - you could make your own too!

Glad to have you here - fire away any specific questions you might have on your machine, the BX2"x" series is the most popular model here too.

Thanks...

yeah...

The salesman was itchin to get back inside... LOL while we were out back....

it was raining like a bowl legged cow peein on a flat river rock...

I pretty much told him "I'm all set" and strapped it down myself...

the rain didn't bother me none.... I've been waiting to get a TLB for as long as I can remember...

They forgot to install the backhoe thumb so they threw it in for free when I volunteered to install it myself..

I got the 60" regular mower deck. (non drive over)

ROP lights are on the list....

tooth bar, not sure I need right now...

Rear wheel spacers and a skid plate come to mind as something to get right away also.

Rear wheel spacers .
Whats the reason for wheel spacers? better stability/rollover?

what size spacers you all run? front/rear?

On cars, I've always considered wheel spacers a bad idea...

but then, my opinion is based from seeing the kids with the Honda accord lowered to the ground with 4" spacers and a coffee can muffler....

I guess if they were good quality and maybe 1.5" or so.... steel or billet alum.

Congrats on your new Tractor. You will love it. Wheel Spacers from Brotec and skid plate from BXexpanded come highly recommended from owners on this site.

Here's a narrow trench bucket. It should be an easy dig over your ( what looks like ) 12" bucket

what size wheel spacers are you guys running?

front and rear?
I put 2" spacers on the rear, they provide greater stability and improved ride. You have a less harsh side to side motion when one rear wheel goes over a bump.
Front wheel spacers will not improve ride or stability because the front axle pivot allows the front axle to pivot side to side, independent of the rear axle and tractor. Most of the time you do not even notice when one front wheel goes over a bump.
Plus extending the the short front axles with spacers may put excessive loads on the axle and axle bearing. The rear axles are a lot longer and will have little effect on bearing or axle loads.

Thx
I will look into that... I was a little  yesterday mowing.... I have a slight bank ... I think with spacers I may be OK.

sure was nice cutting with a 60" deck.... I finished up any tight spots with my Xmark 48 walk behind.. took about 5 minutes..

I had a little learning curve putting the FEL back on...

woulda helped if I actually read the directions...

finally got it down.... pretty ez but lining up square is key.... so those pins drop in nice...

fixin to dig me a hole today....
