Newbie operator, new BX 23S, 35 hours.
I just had the dealer install 3rd function valve, new/different control stick, new button on stick.
For my first 34 hours I seem to remember the original stick would return to center quite well, neutral position, unless I jammed it forward for floating.
Now with this new stick its seems quite a lot stiffer, and while running my sweeper for a few hours last night it was either staying up or down when I moved it, I'd have to pull/push it back to center. Doesn't seem right. Thoughts/opinions. TY.

Short of moving it past the float detent as you mentioned, the loader control should return to center on its own after you release it.

I have a L2501 and with about 30 hours of bucket grapple work the loader control stick would not return to a neutral position. I had to nudge it into position. With mine it was the linkage underneath the plastic cover that needed lube. Not sure if yours uses external linkage like mine but its a thought.

They likely didn’t replace the loader stick, they swap out the top of it and then run the wires Beside it, or in some cases online I saw people putting the wires through the center of the stick. These are the buttons on mine.

On my LX2610 I did replace the entire control for the Kubota OEM 3rd function kit but I'm not sure if it's the same on the BX's or not. There were two bolts that hold the control to the assembly underneath the seat.
