My wife informed me that here purse was wet when she picked it up off the floor of my truck the other day.

Sure enough, the floor was soaked.

My initial thought was a clogged AC drain, so I put it on the hoist and ran a wire up the drain hole and got nothing.

Coolant level was fine, no “sweet smell” was eminating from the dash either…..

Now I am stumped……I type it into the "google machine” and sure enough, AI to the rescue (BTW I hate/fear/am afraid of AI) (And whatever you do….DO NOT READ THE BOOK “CODE RED”….very depressing/frightening/scary)

Anywhoo……….It appears that there is/was some sort of “alignment widget” for the windshield that the factory used to install it, and the gasket has gone south.

To test it, I used the hose, and after I sprayed about 5,000 gallons of water in/on it the rear carpet was drenched….

I tried to use my “Big Ass” fan to dry it out for 3 F’ing days….but it was basically "doing nothing.'

So being the impatient prick I am, I got my tools out and started “hacking and slashing”…….and a few hours later…….This…...

I have a Chevy Colorado crew cab that had a leak in the high brake light seal. Water got through, ran down both C pillars, then to the sill forward to the floors. Both floors were soaked, but I couldn't tell because I had WeatherTech floor liners; they were nice and dry.
It was winter but above freezing. I used a fan, electric heater and dehumidifier a few days in the truck until it finally dried out.

I think I would have stopped at 2500 gallons of water; but, to each their own.
