need some help installing bx2750d snow blower on my Kubota BX1800

this will be the first year I will use it. I inherited the tractor a few years ago. it looks straightforward and I have all of the parts. What i can't figure out yet is the hydraulic controls. They are mounted to the LA2311 front loader. So do I have to unmount the hydraulic controls from the LA211 and reinstall somehow back on the tractor? Here are some photos of the controls and loader.

Steve I thought maybe I could extrapolate from my B2650 and its front mount blower, but nothing looks familiar except the loader in picture 3. Is yours a front mount blower? What are the hydraulics doing at present?

To be certain, all the photos are of YOUR FEL?
You are talking about a front mounted blower?

The hydraulic FEL controls remain on the tractor to control your blower. Presently the FEL valve is mounted on a bracket which is bolted to your FEL frame. You will have to fab a way to support it with the FEL off

The blower will have its own sub frame. In the sub frame will be a hydraulic cylinder to raise or lower the blower.

One of the FEL hydraulic circuits can be used to raise and lower the blower. Depending upon your blower, the second FEL hydraulic circuit could be used to control a chute rotator.

Hope this helps. It is hard to tell if it is a blower sub frame under your FEL.

Not sure details on the BX1800. Probably similar to my BX2370-1.

As Dave stated need to make sure the hydraulic valve stays with the tractor when you take the FEL off.

2 major pieces: quick hitch and blower.

Quick hitch is black part with cylinder on front of tractor. Hangs over front edge, 2 long pins to connect at bottom edge of frame. Hand screws at top to tighten on frame. Long drive shaft under tractor to connect mid pto to quick hitch.

Blower slides on to front of quick hitch and is latched on. shorter drive shaft between quick hitch and blower.

Do you have pictures of blower and other parts?

Thanks, fellas. I have the BX 1800 with the LA 211 loader that has the hydraulics attached to it. I do have the front quick hitch frame, drive shaft and blower so the parts are all here. This all became mine when my father in law passed a few years back, he had it set up for him every year with the blower. At the end, there was no way for him to show me any of the setup. So i think i can knock out the pins in the photo, disconnect the hydraulic connections and be in business. Then figure out how he hooked up the electric chute rotation.

I have the same tractor (BX2230) (same series) and my FEL "tower" stays on my tractor, there is a 2nd "tower" that connects the top boom and the lower piston that mates along side the "tower" that stays on the tractor.
Clearly in your picture (with the blue arrows) all of that must come off if you don't want to be driving pins out every time. Maybe you can take the valve mount off my series tractor and it will allow you to re-design the way your valve mounts on your tractor?
Go to the Kubota parts lookup website and look at the diagrams and part #'s, see if its possible.

Did you ever figure out how to get the FEL and snowblower connected? I just found myself in the same exact situation..have an LA211 with the controls connected to the loader and a front mount snowblower that needs those control hydraulics.

OK... I can help you, since I had the same series tractor, but mine was a BX22. The loader valve stays on the loader when the loader is removed from the tractor. You have to pull the cylinder pin along with the top pin to remove the valve and post assembly, and put it back onto the tractor, using the large pin that goes at the bottom of the frame to retain the loader valve post. Now, you have the cylinder on the loader hanging down, and what I did was to buy another post, and use that to keep the loader cylinder in place, and also to keep the pins from becoming lost over the winter.
Now, here comes the bad news. That loader was sold with 2 different valves, and if you don't have the correct valve, it will not work with the hydraulics of the snow blower mount. From memory, they were referred to as a 3 way valve, and a 4 way valve, and the one that you need is the 4 way valve. While I don't care for redirecting people to other forums, this time there is no other way. When you read this post on TBN, you will understand more about these valves. Pay particular attention to post #12, because that will help you to figure out exactly what valve is on your tractor. Don't hesitate to PM me if you have additional questions. The normal right or dump position uses a regenerative circuit which uses the weight in the bucket as additional speed to dump. The extra right hand position acts like a regular two-way valve circuit. If you only have the 3-way, then you can't really use that circuit for anything other than dumping.

If you don't want to go to all that trouble you can run a hydraulic hose back to the tph assembly and use the TPH control valve to raise and lower your snowblower. It has been a long time since I rigged a BX1800 that way so I'm having a hard time remembering where to connect to the TPH assembly. I actually do that on my BX24d for the snowblower and use my loader valve for a shute rotator and a deflector. On the BX24 the port is right beside the hydraulic adaptor fitting on the transaxle where the oil is diverted to the loader valve. The port you want is the test port usually used to test the operation of the TPH control valve. You won't have down pressure, but down pressure is close to useless on a snowblower anyway!

Thanks all. I purchased the snowblower the other day, and haven't even picked it up yet! I'll check all the models and types when I pick it up on Wednesday and report. I'll also take some pics. The good thing is that i have BOTH valves. I have my valve from my loader (that is on my loader now), and I also have (will be getting) the valve and post that came with the snowblower.

I'll update in a few days.
