Hello,
Little BX guy here and have a question about a B3030. I have a neighbor lady with a B3030 with cab (but no front loader). Her husband died this past August, but had purchased and planned to use the B3030 to keep their driveway clear of snow using a front snowblower and rear blade.
Well I met her when we got a pretty bad storm that downed a bunch of trees and trapped people on our road. I offered to help her get the tractor set up like her husband had planned. I've gotten the instructions from kubota for installation of the hydraulic system (that would've come factory on a B3030 with a front loader). My question is, does anyone know if I'll have to remove the cab to accomplish this? and if so, does anyone have instructions on removing the cab?
I'm kind of assuming I will have to remove it to drill and cut the fender for the hydraulic stick control that will end up operating her snowblower. Garage space is tight, and temps are already cool here in Alaska (+14 today), so I'm thinking I'll remove the cab outside of her garage and do the hydraulic installation inside, then put the cab back on. I appreciate any insight anyone has on this, thanks!

If its a factory loader valve why would you have to cut anything?

This is the valve setup for a cab:
No you do not need to remove the cab, or cut any holes!

OK, makes sense. I had glanced over the instructions and saw the template they came with. I had assumed the template area would be cut out to mount the control lever, but I see it's just there to align the holes you have to drill. Good to know the cab doesn't have to come off either. Hopefully I'll get her up and running before the next big dump!

The machine doesn't have rear remotes either, I'm suggesting to her that she get the rear blade. My experience with a rear blade shows that a hydraulic top link is nearly indispensable...... I made a hydraulic top link setup for my BX23s

Appreciate the help from everybody. Installing the hydraulic control kit ended up being pretty easy....... except Kubota specs the wrong bolts to install the valve support onto the frame, twice actually. The part assembly diagrams spec a M12-1.25 x 50mm bolt........ the bolt/attachment kit (same part #) comes with two M12-1.5 x 50 bolts......what's actually needed is (2) M12-1.75 x 50 bolts. Luckily the 1.75 course thread are easily found around town. Tomorrow we're going to go pick up her snowblower and subframe setup and get her all set up for the next storm whenever it comes.
