I’ve been looking for tires 25x10.00-12 for my kubota RTV 900. Every tire search leads me to Chinese tires which I’m not a fan of. I was wondering if any one can point me in the right direction or recommend some tires. I’m looking for all terrain tires...

Thanks

I bought a set of these for my Polaris Ranger. These are 8 ply, but you can also get them in 6 ply. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-New-Deestone-D942-26x9r-12-Tires-26912-26-9-12/263395910989

The original tires (Carlisle) on the Ranger I think were made in the USA. Where ever they are made, they became a problem WAY before the tread was wore much

The prices tend to fluctuate greatly. What I discovered is don't be in a hurry. I check products on Ebay, and put some on my "watch" list. In a few days the ones I have on that list tend to come down in price!! I got the 26x11r-12 for the rears for $102 ea. after some shopping and waiting.

These tires are fantastic for what I use them for, and would buy them again.

I think the OP is asking for tires made in USA.

Are you suggesting these Deestone tires meet this requirement?

200mph, I am not suggesting these tires are made in the USA. He did mention he is not a fan of Chinese tires. I took that to mean he'd prefer USA tires, but if you need tires you have to buy something. So I gave him a review of a product that worked for me.

No offense meant. And after having these tire for a couple of months I would not purchase Carlisle tires (at least for the Ranger) again. For one, Carlisle does not make that size tire in anything greater then 4 ply.

D2cat,

Fully understand.

I had read a number of months back that a few Chinese tire companies were planning on building plants in the US as they want to establish themselves and then go after the automotive OEM business. Thought maybe Deestone might be one of them and possibly producing in the US.

I know of a few people who had poor experiences with Carlisle tires.

I might just throw the towel in and buy a set of Chinese tire even though an older gentleman that’s been changing tires since the 1950 once told me never to buy Chinese tires because the quality is low. But that was around 15 years ago so I’m guessing they’ve come along way since then.

Just a quick up date, I found Carlisle AT 489 25x10-12 tires on amazon (Motorsport.com) for $69 a tire + $7 for S&H. If you order directly from Motorsport it***8217;s free shipping over $49.

It***8217;s a not the 6ply that I wanted but for $69 a tire, made in the USA, I***8217;m ok settling with Carlisle tires and I bought 6 since they***8217;re on clearance...

It will be interesting to see the date code of these tires and how long they've been sitting around.

It will be interesting to see the date code of these tires and how long they've been sitting around.
Yesterday while looking for tires for my BX22 on Amazon and eBay, a few of the tire sellers said that the date of the tire wasn't a reason for a return, and that the date of manufacturer was stated in the description. Unfortunately, none of the tires that I was looking at had date codes in the descriptions. The description was marked N/A (not applicable). Did a little more digging, and learned that the date code was a requirement of the DOT (department of transportation), and since our Kubota's are not legal for the road, the tires are not governed by DOT rules, hence, there are no date codes on the tires, and if there are, it is only because the manufacturer out of the goodness of their heart, added it to the tire.
Unfortunately, you have to work at pulling the information out of some of these sellers, since they don't give you all the pertinent information, such as the true number of ply's. Some of them say that they are 4 ply tires, when in fact, they are 4 ply rated. 4 ply and 4 ply rated are not the same. The 4 ply rated tires are 2 ply tires, and the side wall is no where near the same firmness as a true 4 ply tire.
I was looking at one 26x12-12 turf tire, and it said that the inflation was 10 PSI. At 10 PSI, I would have to leave my backhoe off of the tractor because I don't believe that at 10 PSI, it would carry the load of my tractor.

That’s one thing I paid attention to was the tire load rating. The Carlisle tire I got I believe have a 1000ish lbs per tire at 25psi which is fine for what I’m going with my RTV900

When researching tire specifications, I've found it helpful to reference the manufactures catalog directly versus relying on seller descriptions. Match up the tire model number in the catalog and confirm. I've seen many errors published in online sales descriptions.
