Need Front end weight?

Just started using a little bit bigger brush hog this spring and noticed that on my properties hills I was losing traction. So I went to my Junk pile and came up with this.

I PICK THEM UP AND PUT THEM DOWN! As Arnold would say... Nice use of scrap material.

Does the bar clear the loader so you don't have to unbolt it every time, just take the weights off?

And I gotta ask - is that a grill guard of some sort?

No the bar will not clear I think you are referring to the wood on the grill. Its my chainsaw scabbard.

Any reason you don't just leave the loader on an use that for front weight?
