I have an L3400 2WD with a loader. It has those narrow front rims that came with the 3-rib tires. I have installed the widest trailer tires that will fit, trying to get a bigger footprint so it's not so prone to sinking in soft ground with a loaded bucket. Will the rims from a 4WD.....or anything else....fit my machine so that I can put wider tires on it?

You would be better off putting more ballast weight on it to get the weight off the front end.

I don't think 4wd rims will fit it, but you might be able to find a generic rim that will fit it in a wider size.

There are almost certainly a bunch of wheels that will fit, but the question i would ask first is, does your tractor have power steering? Your steering effort is going to change tremendously if you go to wider tires, especially if the scrub radius increases substantially due to different wheel offset. But, if you have power steering it may not even be noticeable.
