Yes a 48 incher will work that's what we have for the BX 2360 and like Mick said, take just an inch or 2 off with each pass on new ground, don't try to sump that bad girl in, also go SLOW low range and just creep along until its all chewed up, that might take a bit on new ground but once its all worked up things will go faster. Tillers aint cheap no matter how you look at it, though you might find a good one on C list. Another place to look is everything attachments, they have some good stuff and shipping is free, also if your look through the site they have instructional videos on the stuff they sell. But what ever you do, remember slow and steady until its all worked up then you can go faster, drop it down in small increments until its all the way in. And most of all ENJOY
