Due to intertwined grain the stump will be a real bear to split. Folks that turn wood might take it away.

I was able to split the stump in about half. Used the saw to go all the way around & hoped I could break the inner core with the tractor. No go. I cut a notch out & plunged the saw in. It worked. The larger piece was right at the loaders limit.

now... haul them to your driveway and place one on either side.
I did that with 2 'landscaping stones' (3x8x2' ). Saved the fence from being hit, again...
HOW someone can't get a car through a 16' opening is beyond me.....

That’s a good idea. I’m at the end of a dead end, a d have PLENTY of driveway, yet every few months somebody drives over my wet grass. I may think about strategically placing some “BFR”s, as they’re called around here.

I got tired of digging postholes after my mailbox was knocked down so I welded up a stand basically like a pedestal table so I could just set it upright when knocked down. After sitting it back upright a couple of times I found it several feet down the road near a puddle of oil. Whatda you know, that was the last time it was run over. The same a-hole had been running over it all along.
